Partai Nasional Demokrat or NasDem
The National Democratic Party ( Partai Nasional Demokrat or NasDem ) of Indonesia was officially established on October 26, 2011. It was founded by Surya Paloh, a media tycoon and influential figure in the Indonesian media industry. NasDem was formed with the goal of becoming a moderate and inclusive political party, advocating for democracy, good governance, and social justice. Surya Paloh, who had been involved in various media ventures, including ownership of the Media Indonesia newspaper and Metro TV, played a key role in founding NasDem.
